It distinguishes itself through high precision as well as high independence from the surface of the measuring object. The red, visible laser beam allows for easy alignment. The sister model LDM42A has been further developed for fast distance measurements on white surfaces.

It works contact-free on the principle of comparative phase measurement (amplitude modulation) and facilitates precisely accurate measurement of distances. Both, the LDM42E and the LDM42E distinguish themselves through high precision as well as high independence from the surface of the measuring object. The red, well visible laser beam allows for easy alignment. The LDM42E has been developed for fast distance measurements on white surfaces. Through the integrated Ethernet interface it is possible to retrieve the measured data in the network via Telnet protocol or to change parameters.

LDM301A measures distances to targets up to 3000 m away with a precision down to the centimeter. It is able to detect the speed of moving objects with high accuracy. Operated without a reflector, the LDM301A convinces with a range of 300 m on almost each surface. In addition to the large working range, the LDM301A is characterized by very short measuring times down to 0.1 ms. The compact design of the device, the easy set-up and the standard interfaces RS422 or RS232 allow for easy installation and operation. The status of the device can be monitored via LED display during operation. The heating integrated in the device ensures reliable operation at temperatures as low as -40°C. The LDM301A offers the option to add a visor or additional interfaces, such as PROFIBUS DP.

LDS30A laser distance sensor is intended for general distance measurements that require extremely fast data acquisition. It provides up to 30,000 centimeter-precise measuring values per second – up to 30 m without a reflector. With appropriate reflectors the LDS30A reaches objects at distances of up to 250 m. The sensor has been optimized for easy system integration and has a shock-proof and impact-resistant IP 67 housing. Thus, it is most suitable for applications that impose high impact on the sensor, such as harsh industrial environments. Due to the invisible and eye safe laser (905 nm) the LDS30A can also be used in public areas.

The laser distance sensors LDS70A are designed for measurements of moving targets. The sensor is characterized by a high output frequency of up to 40 kilohertz. Typically, the distance sensor is used to detect objects in industrial automation or for monitoring defined areas in transport and logistics applications. The compact laser distance sensor is offered as a ready-to-use device with industry standard IP67 proof housing. It provides precise measuring values up to 70 m without a reflector. With appropriate reflectors the LDS70A reaches objects at distances of up to 270 m.
