The DC brake with equipment protection VersiBrake Safe offers maximum control and safety for a gentle shutdown. The VersiBrake Safe braking device ensures that motors with efficiency classes IE1 to IE3 are gently, wear-resistant and safely braked. In particular, the relevant specifications or European DIN standards in compliance with the requirements of category 2, PL c from EN13849-1: 2008 and SIL1 according to DIN EN 61508 for the safety of woodworking machines are met. The safety functions include, for example, the prevention of unintentional startup due to interference, the controlled controlled shutdown, the control of the (protective) door lock or the external standstill monitoring with intelligent standstill detection.
