Bourdon pressure gauges and thermometers

Bourdon

Bourdon-Haenni is one of the world leading brands for mechanical process instrumentation and belongs with its international business locations to the Baumer Group. Historically, this competence and passion is based on the Bourdon tube invented in 1843 by Eugène Bourdon, which is the central component for precise mechanical pressure measurement technology, today and in the future. The comprehensive product portfolio is manufactured with high vertical integration and state-of-the-art process methods in the company own production sites in France, Switzerland, Germany and India. In addition to the standard products such as thermometers, pressure gauges, pressure and temperature switches and diaphragm seals, this portfolio also comprises a large number of customer-specific solutions, which are mainly used on the sectors of oil and gas, energy / power plants, water supply, chemistry as well as heating, ventilation and air conditioning.

Sensors BAUMER

Industrial pressure gauges

Bourdon tube, diaphragm, capsule and bellows pressure gauges measuring 0...1600 bar, calibration certificates.

Sensors BAUMER

Differential pressure gauges

Differential pressure gauges for measuring differential pressure. Used to measure the level of pressurised liquids or the flow of a liquid or gas.

Sensors BAUMER

Pressure gauges

Mechanical pressure switches from -50...0 mbar to 60...600 bar in intrinsically safe or explosion-proof version. Special solutions for nuclear power plants.

Sensors BAUMER

Temperature gauges

Thermometers for harsh environments in the chemical and petrochemical industries, as well as gas-filled thermometers for remote temperature measurement.

Sensors BAUMER

Temperature switches

Thermostatic switches are electromechanical switches controlled by temperature changes. The devices are used to control heating and cooling systems.

Accessories

The original accessories for measuring pressure and temperature. Always compatible and easy to identify, made from high-quality materials.

Pressure gauges are among the most common pressure measurement devices worldwide. The principle of the "Bourdon tube", developed by Eugène Bourdon in 1849, has a predominant role in the development of this technology. Bourdon offers mechanical pressure gauges for accurate measuring of relative, absolute and differential pressure covering measuring ranges from 0…6 mbar to 0…1600 bar and compatible with almost every application.

Mechanical pressure gauges are local indicators without external power supply. The indication is generated by the elastic deformation of a mechanical sensing element when pressurized. Different types of sensing elements allow solutions for nearly every kind of application. Many options can be selected to adapt the pressure gauge to specific process or application requirements e.g. medium compatibility, overpressure protection, safety, specific dials etc. Proven technologies, many years of experience, modern production methods and a certified quality management system guarantee excellent measurement results even under extreme operating conditions.

Proven technology, decades of experience, state-of-the-art production methods and a certified quality management system guarantee excellent measurement results even under extreme operating conditions. Mechanical pressure gauges are easy to use and require no external power supply. This provides a reliable, independent and safe pressure indication, even if electronic measurements are not available. In addition to the original Bourdon pressure gauges, capsule pressure gauges for low pressure, as well as diaphragm and corrugated gauges for specific processes, are manufactured. Bourdon pressure gauges can be customised to suit your application requirements.
