4-channel multiplex amplifier with manual gain setting. The PANTRON multiplex process guarantees a strict channel separation, even if the four light barriers are mounted very closely. Two level settings allow the multiplexer to be adjusted to overcome distance and other conditions. Selectable multiplex speed offers an increase of range and penetration at slow speed or respectively a shorter range at faster speed. When the light curtain function is activated, the switching output for channel one is the only one active and it reports if any of the four beams is interrupted. The time delay for channel one can be combined with the light curtain function. Switch-on and switch-off delay time can be activated simultaneously. By use of dark switching it is possible to reverse the switching behavior of the outputs for each channel. The Master/Slave operation makes it possible to synchronize several multiplex amplifiers. This feature allows the light curtain to utilize more than four beams. Wear-free transistor outputs ensure high switching sequences and reliable continuous operation. |
