Dual-channel multiplex amplifier with automatic transmit power adjustment. This operating mode is useful for adjusting to contamination, misalignment and other disturbing influences. With the push of a button, the device switches to test mode and displays information about sensor alignment and wiring such as wire breakage or short-circuit. The PANTRON multiplex process guarantees a strict channel separation even if the two light barriers are mounted very closely. A six fold DIP switch located on the back of the device provides many setting options. Four level settings allow adjustments to overcome distance and other conditions. By use of dark switching it is possible to reverse the switching behavior of the outputs for each channel. The alarm LED indicates that the sensors are too polluted. An included time delay offers, for example, the gating of short interruptions of the light barrier or pulse stretching. Switch-on and switch-off delay time can be activated simultaneously. This compact dual-channel amplifier must be mounted on a 11-pin DIN rail socket. Wear-free transistor outputs ensure high switching sequences and reliable continuous operation.
