Thyristor regulators with IP20 protection must be installed in a forced ventilation control cabinet, which ensures efficient removal of generated heat and maintenance of the regulator temperature not exceeding +55°C. Measures must be taken to prevent dust and dirt from entering the regulator. Excessive humidity, aggressive atmosphere, vibration and other mechanical influences must also be avoided.
The ESGT regulator is connected to the network via a circuit breaker and fuses, which can be installed either directly on the regulator busbars or separately in the enclosure. The tripping current of the recommended fuse is specified in the enclosed documentation. With each order we will also offer optional fast fuses of the Ultra-Rapid series manufactured by the German company SIBA. It is possible to order fuses in any quantity, either as a regulator package or in spare parts.
Mains chokes and filters are recommended in order to maintain the quality of the mains voltage and prevent high frequency interference. If necessary, our company will offer suitable models in each case.
