Flow Monitoring
The company BAMO is a European manufacturer of sensors and instruments for monitoring and analysing liquids. Analysis and measurement of liquids, pH, chlorine content, conductivity, water hardness, turbidity and dissolved oxygen. Monitoring and measurement of level, flow, pressure and temperature. Motorised and automatic valves. Our qualifications and experience mainly lie in the fields of hydraulics, mechanics, electronics and injection moulding. Production and product development are carried out in accordance with DIN EN ISO 9001 and the company is DIN EN ISO 9001 and ATEX certified, complying with all applicable directives and European standards. Tests are carried out both in our own test chambers and at third-party certification centres.
BAMOSONIC is used to continuous monitoring of liquid level in open channels. With a US beam angle of 6° it is perfectly suited for level measurement on exponential section channels. BAMOSONIC is a high performance ultrasonic transmitter with integrated transducer and electronic processing module. Compact, this transmitter is powered by the loop (4-20 mA; 2-wire) and stands out for its reliability and high accuracy. Positioned above the surface of the liquid, the BAMOSONIC provides an output signal proportional to the liquid level. The stainless steel support facilitates the positioning of the device over an open channel, particularly convenient for flow measurements in wastewater treatment plants.

BAMOBUL is designed for Venturi channel or Weir plates water level measurements up to 500 mm. This application requires a highly accurate level measurement as between water height and level the relation is exponential in open channels. The instrument is associating an air generator to a 4-20 mA pressure transmitter extremely accurate. The sensor permanently measures the necessary pressure to create bubbling against the water column. This pressure difference is directly proportional to the water height (the pressure is equal to hydrostatic pressure of water column). To limit errors due to the airflow fluctuation, adjustment are easy with integrated valves. This instrument is well known for its reliability and the accuracy of signal output even whit particles in the fluid or foam over the surface. BAMOBUL level sensor is wall mounting; housing protection IP 55, including a pressure sensor, an electronic amplifier and an air generator.

The reading is easy on the 4.3" color touch screen for flow-rate or height of liquid, as well as for totalization. Through a user friendly menu, settings are easy for thresholds, alarms, sampler monitoring and all parameters. BAMOPHAR 759 converts the input signal directly into flow-rate, through a calculator and using formulas and calibration tables of our Venturi channels (ISO 4359) and our standard V or U channel weirs. Extension terminal allows a second measurement (Turbidity, pH, Conductivity, etc.). Data from this blind unit are displayed on the main device. End-user interface: color touch screen display of: measurements, flow rate, temperature, height of liquid, daily volume and totalization, status of relays, settings - Configuration keyword protected.

BAMOMATIC is a flowmeter based on the principle of electromagnetic induction to measure flow-rate on electrically conductive liquids ( > 20 μS/cm). It is perfectly suited for dosing or totalizing liquids. Each instrument is calibrated on a bench test at ± 5/1000 pulses of water at 23 °C. Density of the liquid, its temperature or its pressure have no influence on the measurement; No moving parts in this flow-meter: it ensures operatings without mechanical wear. The measuring principle is based on Faraday's law (a): In an electromagnetic flow-meter, the liquid section is in a magnetic field created by solenoid coils. Electrode sensors are located on a plane, perpendicular to the magnetic field, in contact with the (conductive) liquid, allowing measurement of the generated voltage. This voltage is directly proportional to the fluid velocity and therefore to the flow-rate (for a constant flow section).

BAMOFLONIC-PFA applies propagation ultrasonic waves principle to measure the speed of a liquid, then to calculate the corresponding flow-rate. Therefore, it is convenient for liquids electrically conductive or not. Note: The liquid must be homogeneous and clear. As no moving parts are concerned, BAMOFLONIC operates without mechanical wear. Wet parts are of PFA. BAMOFLONIC - PFA can operates without its remote display unit. If liquid properties are different to water (viscosity, waves propagation, etc.), it is recommended to use the remote display unit. It allows to display and modify the flow-meter parameters (output signals, reset of totalizer, dosing function, etc.).
